On the weekend of a presidential inauguration, political divisions and uncertainties shape our public discourse. Into this transitional time, the lectionary gives us Paul preaching unity in Christ to the Corinthian church, and Jesus begins his public ministry by calling all to repentance in preparation for the kingdom of heaven. So let's dive in and talk politics.
